The institution has its own Library and Reading room.  There are 3186 books on various technical subjects relevant to the students.   15 Science magazines and technical journals are made available to the students. 

          The Library is kept open from  9 AM to 5 PM on all working days.  Students are permitted to borrow books for study at home.

Students are encouraged to take active part in sports and games.  Ample facilities are provided for indoor and outdoor games.  The campus has vast playgrounds for cricket, hockey, football, volleyball, basketball and ball badminton.

The campus has a seminar hall and an open-air pavilion for students to organize various extracurricular activities.

Hostel facilities are available for boys and girls within the institute campus.   Common rooms with television sets are provided in the hostels.  

Students from all over India have been coming to Cauvery Polytechnic.  The name of the institution is quite well known in industrial circles as well.  Cauvery Polytechnic assists the students in the final semester to find suitable jobs in various industrial units.  Old students from this institution also lend a helping hand.  The management is planning to further improve the Placement Cell in the institution.

All the Students graduating from the institution are made members of the Alumini Association.  The Association meets during the annual Valedictory function old students interact with the students currently studying and give them advice based on their experience.
